I was getting to know Anette through her voice. I observed the characteristics of Anette´s voice through the short-spoken messages that she sent me over the course of two months. The spoken messages, including phonetic details, defined Anette's current mood. I studied the voice characteristics—tracks 02, 03, and 08—and then wrote a script describing the phenomena taking place in Anette´s speech, which she read herself—the last track, "And everything is kind of grey."
